I am a white male who has been using a brush and various soap cakes or creams to create lather for shaving for over 15 years. I came across Bump Patrol Cool Shaving Gel while looking for a replacement for the product I had been using but was discontinued. I have been very pleased with the quality of the lather produced by this product. It is highly superior to the traditional soap cakes used with a brush, making a thick, long-lasting lather that really lubricates the shave and protects and soothes my face. I beleive it even helps the razor blade stay sharp longer. Thank you for such an excellent product!
